We've called the dress code Summer Formal. What we mean is we want you to enjoy the opportunity to dress up as nicely as you can; but we also want you to be yourself and feel comfortable. For the Scotsmen attending, kilts are actively encouraged!

As much as we'd love to have everyone's children join us on our special day, we can only accommodate a few close family children and babes-in-arms.

Yes, the bar opens at 7pm with last orders at midnight. A 'cash bar' means you'll pay for your drinks, but you can do so with cash, or with cards or contactless payment. If you would like to set up a bar tab, or offer to put money behind the bar for everyone to use, you are welcome to do so and can arrange by speaking to one of the bar or hospitality staff.

Yes the College is wheelchair accessible. There is a self-operated street lift at 11 Queen Street. All historic rooms are wheelchair accessible and there is also access to an accessible toilet.

Yes. There are accessible toilets on site, with grab rails, emergency cords, lowered mirrors and fittings.

No smoking or vaping is allowed on the premises, including the Physic Garden. Please exit the building's main entrance to smoke.

There are no parking spaces on site. Parking may be available for disabled guests in one of the venue's parking bays. This cannot be reserved prior to the wedding.

The venue is very centrally located. It is just five minutes walk from Edinburgh's bus and train stations and approx eight minutes from the Edinburgh Q-Park car park.

No. We have exclusive use of the historic rooms at the venue (Great Hall, New Library and Cullen Suite).
